Division 8 Commercial Estimator / Project Manager
Summary
Estimates and manages commercial construction projects focused on Division 8 scope (doors, frames, hardware) for a supplier. Uses Comsense/Enterprise for takeoffs and project tracking, reviews architectural plans, coordinates with suppliers and general contractors, and runs projects from bidding through installation.
LKL Associates is looking for an experienced Division 8 Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing Door Shop team. This position focuses on estimating and/or managing commercial projects.
We are seeking someone with strong knowledge of Division 8 materials – such as hollow-metal frames & doors, commercial wood doors, & door hardware – who can help support the division’s continued growth and increased bidding activity. This role will play a key part in expanding LKL's Door Shop Division by heping win and successfully deliver commercial projects across the region.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates for the doors, frames, and hardware (Division 8) scope of work on commercial construction projects
- Review architectural plans and specifications
- Use Comsense/Enterprise for takeoffs and managing estimates/projects
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for quotes on materials
- Manage awarded projects from start to finish, including scheduling, ordering materials, coordinating deliveries, and installation
- Communicate with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Track project costs and maintain organized project documentation
- Assist with bidding strategy and identifying new project opportunities
