Job Summary
The Donor Recruitment Specialist plays a critical role in supporting CCBC’s collection targets by securing donor appointments through strategic outbound and inbound calling. This role focuses on building long-term donor relationships, aligning communication with campaign goals, and consistently meeting daily call volume and appointment-setting targets.
Essential Responsibilities
- Communicate daily with the Donor Recruitment Manager to review product needs and prioritize outreach strategies
- Conduct high-volume outbound calling to current, lapsed, and prospective donors for whole blood, platelets, plasma, and double red cell donations
- Schedule donor appointments that support daily and weekly mobile and fixed-site collection goals
- Deliver mission-aligned, persuasive messaging to donors, emphasizing the importance of donation, different donation types, and local patient impact
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound donor inquiries
- Log all donor interactions accurately using current scheduling tools
- Maintain donor confidentiality and comply with privacy, ethical, and regulatory standards
- Report recurring donor feedback, objections, or questions to the supervisor for campaign and training improvement
- Collaborate with team members to optimize shift coverage and achieve department-wide performance targets
- Demonstrates alignment with and adherence to the company’s core values in all interactions, decisions, and work activities; serves as a role model for fostering a positive, respectful, and ethical workplace culture
- This position requires consistent, on-time attendance in accordance with company policy. Excessive tardiness or absenteeism may impact performance and employment status.
