E&M Manager
1. Roles and responsibilities
• Involve overseeing the electrical and mechanical aspects of the TBM operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of all related systems.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all electrical and mechanical matters related to the TBM.
• Collaborate closely with the project manager, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the project’s success.
• Lead the E&M team involved in the TBM operations, including engineers, technicians, and other personnel.
• Ensure the team is aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical systems associated with the TBM.
• Ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
2. Job Requirements
• Minimum 12 years of engineering experience with recognized Degree in the relevant field, and at least 10 years of experience in managing tunnelling E&M works of similar scale, complexity and nature of work.
• Proven track record in leading and managing E&M teams on large-scale infrastructure projects, including familiarity with the specific challenges of tunnel construction.
• Deep understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in TBM operations, including power supply, ventilation, lighting, fire safety systems, and communication networks.
• Competence in engineering software used in tunnel design and management, such as AutoCAD, BIM, and other project management tools.
