Estimating Manager - Saudi National

The project:
A landmark multipurpose venue at the heart of Riyadh, designed as a dynamic destination for sports, entertainment, cultural activities, and community engagement. Created for long-term flexibility and year-round activation, the venue will host a diverse range of events, bringing people together and enhancing the city's vibrant social and recreational landscape.
This job is for a Saudi national willing to be based in Riyadh.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Supervise teams in preparing cost plans, estimates, and measurement exercises, including schedules of quantities, across multiple projects and portfolios.
• Develop strategic reviews, prospect assessments, and fact-finding activities to support project opportunities and estimating strategies.
• Manage and perform benchmarking exercises to validate estimates and ensure cost competitiveness and accuracy.
• Oversee quality assurance processes for estimates, ensuring outputs are robust, fit for purpose, and aligned with business requirements.
• Present estimates to key stakeholders, demonstrating comprehensive understanding of project scope, risks, assumptions, and costs.
• Provide expert estimating, risk modeling, and scenario analysis, delivering actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Evaluate supplier and contractor quotations, providing commercial insights, modeling solutions, and strategic options to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage, mentor, and develop estimating teams, represent the business in client and stakeholder engagements, and support net zero carbon objectives through proactive carbon management and reduction initiatives.
You’ll need to have:
• A relevant degree qualification.
• Relevant experience in estimating and pre-contract cost management, including at least 6 years in senior management roles on large infrastructure or mixed-use developments.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
