Event Marketing Manager
You will plan, execute, and measure Merkle Science's event presence worldwide. You will define event objectives and KPIs, manage budgets, coordinate logistics and vendors, and collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to maximize pipeline impact. You will track post-event performance and recommend optimizations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to align event marketing strategy with account plans.
- Plan, execute, and track global event presence to maximize lead generation and pipeline growth.
- Define event objectives and metrics, conduct post-event evaluations, and recommend optimizations.
- Manage event marketing budgets and report on budget utilization and performance.
- Lead event marketing workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, and contributors.
- Coordinate event logistics, attendee information, schedules, locations, and registration details.
- Evaluate third-party opportunities and build vendor relationships.
- Align event marketing with business development, partner, and key account strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in event marketing or field marketing.
- Knowledge of trade show project management, including strategy, messaging, design, logistics, vendor management, budgeting, execution, and post-event analysis.
- B2B or B2G marketing experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with confidence presenting to senior leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Salesforce reporting and marketing funnel analysis.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, less than 20 percent.
