Kings' School Nad Al Sheba is seeking to appoint an exceptional Examinations Officer & Data Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented professional to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of all internal and external examinations whilst leading the school's academic data systems and reporting processes.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Department and Inclusion Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of examination administration, regulatory compliance and data accuracy, supporting outstanding outcomes for our students.

The role

The Examinations Officer & Data Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, administration and delivery of all internal and external examinations alongside the effective management of academic assessment data across the school.

The role combines operational excellence with analytical expertise, ensuring that examination processes meet all regulatory requirements whilst providing high-quality data to support teaching, learning, school improvement and inspection readiness.

Key responsibilities

Examinations
  • Lead the planning and administration of all external examinations, including GCSE, A Level and BTEC qualifications.
  • Coordinate internal assessments, mock examinations and standardised testing.
  • Ensure full compliance with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements.
  • Manage examination entries, amendments and certification.
  • Produce examination timetables, seating plans and room allocations.
  • Recruit, train and deploy examination invigilators.
  • Maintain the secure storage and handling of confidential examination materials.
  • Coordinate access arrangements alongside the Inclusion Department.
  • Manage post-results services, including reviews of marking, appeals and access to scripts.
  • Liaise with examination boards including Pearson Edexcel, AQA, Cambridge International and other awarding organisations.
  • Ensure examinations are conducted professionally and in accordance with all regulations.

Data management
  • Manage the school's academic assessment and reporting data.
  • Maintain accurate student assessment records across all year groups.
  • Produce high-quality data analysis to support Senior Leadership, Heads of Department and pastoral teams.
  • Generate reports on student attainment, progress and examination outcomes.
  • Support whole-school assessment cycles and reporting processes.
  • Prepare data required for KHDA inspections, BSO inspections and school accreditation.
  • Maintain data integrity, accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing development of school management systems.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least two years' experience working as an Examinations Officer or within a school examinations environment.
  • Experience administering English National Curriculum qualifications.
  • A thorough understanding of JCQ regulations and awarding body procedures.
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Experience using school MIS systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to remain calm, organised and solutions-focused under pressure.
  • Absolute integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Be located in the UAE, as this is a local-hire position.
