Executive Assistant to the CEO

Location: Remote (Philippines-based VAs only)

Smartland manages 1,400+ rental homes and apartments. The CEO moves fast and decides faster. This role exists to make him faster still: to remove friction, anticipate the next three steps, and never let a ball drop. You are his memory, his logic check, and his second brain.

What you'll actually do:

1. Run the CEO's day so he doesn't have to think about logistics: calendar, travel, prep, follow-through.
2. Catch things before they become problems.
3. We expect you to flag what we missed. Hold the full picture in your head: who owes what, what's due when, which thread is still open.
4. Turn vague direction into a finished result without being walked through it.
5. Build and maintain checklists for everything, because nothing falls through a good checklist.

Who we're looking for:

1. You think fast and you think clearly. Sloppy logic is a dealbreaker.
2. Your memory is sharp. People are surprised by what you remember.
3. You are relentlessly organized. You love checklists, genuinely, not as a line on a résumé.
4. You're proactive. You'd rather ask forgiveness than wait for instructions on the obvious.
5. You think strategically. You see why a task matters, not just what the task is.
6. When the standard template doesn't fit, you build a better one.

Strong English communication skills are required for this position.

Applicants must have a minimum English proficiency level of B2, with C1 strongly preferred.

An English proficiency test result may not be required at the initial application stage. However, Smartland may request an IELTS or other English proficiency test result later in the hiring process, including after the interview, if needed to verify your English proficiency.
