External Sales
ACDC Express is seeking a driven, customer-focused, and results-oriented External Sales to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building and maintaining customer relationships, promoting our products and services, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory.
This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys working in the field, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through prospecting and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Promote and sell ACDC Express products and services.
- Identify new projects, leads, and sales opportunities.
- Visit customers regularly to provide product advice and support.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
- Complete field sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.
- Provide technical product information where required.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years' proven experience in direct/external sales or business development; experience with tenders, contracts or cession agreements strongly advantageous
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English essential; local languages advantageous)
- Computer literacy including preparation of tender and proposal documentation
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport (essential - field-based client visits required)
- Clean criminal record
