F.T. Farfan (Jamaica) Limited - Sales Representative

We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified candidate to join the team at F.T. Farfan (Jamaica) Limited for the position outlined below.

JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for promoting and marketing the Company’s products and providing superior customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promotes and sells the Company’s products and continuously seeks new opportunities for introducing products to customers
• Placement of customers’ orders and following up on delivery of products
• Handling customer questions, complaints and billing queries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
• Managing customers’ accounts within the limits of the credit facilities offered to them in accordance with Company policy
• Collection of revenues and making adjustments to customers’ accounts where necessary
• Verifying inventory wherever the Company’s products are sold and ensuring availability of product
• Use of company app/interface (Go Spot check) to log visits, orders, missions.
• Assisting in implementing advertising/ promotional campaigns/STIHL days
• Continually maintaining working knowledge of all company products, services, pricing and promotions, participation in training sessions as scheduled
• Conduct trainings and demos with customers’ staff and end users
• Making recommendations according to customer’s needs
• Assist with gathering competitive information including pricing surveys
• Demonstrates active adherence to all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, while also promoting HSE awareness.
  
• Performs other related responsibilities that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of five (5) CXC/CSEC O’Level passes inclusive of English Language and Mathematics.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in customer service or a similar position.
• Tertiary qualification will be an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Please note: This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jamaica. Successful candidates must be legally authorized to work in Jamaica. Any relocation costs associated with accepting this position will be the sole responsibility of the successful candidate.
