Job Description

Position: Factory Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily factory operations and production activities.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
• Supervise cutting, polishing, CNC, fabrication, finishing, packing, and dispatch operations.
• Allocate manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources efficiently.
• Monitor production targets, output, wastage, rework, downtime, and overall productivity.
• Ensure timely availability and efficient utilization of raw materials.
• Coordinate with Projects, Planning, Procurement, QS, Sales, and Logistics teams.
• Ensure marble and granite processing meets approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and servicing of machinery and factory equipment.
• Minimize machine downtime and production interruptions.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE safety regulations.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and factory organization.
• Supervise and evaluate supervisors, foremen, operators, and factory workers.
• Monitor attendance, overtime, productivity, and manpower requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
• Control production costs, material wastage, overtime, and operational expenses.
• Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
• Address operational and employee performance issues in coordination with HR.
• Ensure finished products are inspected, packed, stored, and dispatched properly.
• Support capacity planning, manpower forecasting, and factory expansion initiatives.
