Factory Manager

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Factory Manager to oversee our daily factory operations and ensure production runs smoothly, efficiently and safely.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end factory and production operations.
  • Plan and coordinate production activities to ensure projects are completed according to schedule.
  • Oversee material flow, inventory control, production planning and resource utilisation.
  • Lead and develop factory supervisors, team leaders and production workers.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality, security and company standards.
  • Monitor production KPIs, productivity and quality performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage manpower planning, budgeting and resource allocation to achieve operational targets.
  • Work closely with the Project, Design, Purchasing and Site teams to support production requirements and project schedules.
  • Lead internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are properly implemented and completed.
  • Identify production issues and implement effective solutions to minimise delays, wastage and production costs.
  • Ensure machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and operational.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency, quality and overall operational performance.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in factory, manufacturing or production management.
  • Experience in furniture manufacturing, carpentry, interior fit-out or construction will be an advantage.
  • Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Able to manage manpower and production deadlines effectively.
  • Good understanding of workplace safety and production quality requirements.
  • Able to work independently and make operational decisions.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
