Field Installation Manager
The role of the Field Installation Manager (FIM) is to provide field support, task coordination, and communication with the project management team for the installation of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide field technical support to project managers to include installation best practice, product recommendation, and issue resolution within Prime standards.
- Determine resource needs through the project timeline.
- Daily task coordination of the on-site installation team.
- Provide project management updates using all resources identified resources (Text, email, Smartsheets).
- Work with on-site contractors or owner’s representatives to coordinate customer provided support requirements per scope of work. (conduit, cable trays, penetrations, door hardware, construction).
- Verify all project materials are correct and available for project completion.
- Final Quality Assurance check of installation.
- On-site technician training and guidance.
- Participation in kickoff and project close out meetings.
- Assist management with administrative duties for assigned technicians.
