Role: Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities
Financial Closing & Reporting
Coordinate and manage monthly financial closing activities.
Monitor and drive adherence to closing timelines across stakeholders.
Review journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy,completeness, adherence to accounting policies, and timely resolution ofoutstanding items and exceptions.
Perform balance sheet reviews and investigate significant variances, ageingitems, and unreconciled balances, and unusual transactions, ensuringappropriate follow-up and resolution.
Support accounts payable activities, including following up on invoiceprocessing status, resolving payment related issues, and ensuring timelyrecording of expenses for month end close.
Liaise with Shared Services and business stakeholders to resolve accounting,vendor, and reporting issues, and drive timely closure of open items.
Support the preparation and compilation of management reporting decks,including financial analysis, variance commentary, key highlights, andreporting schedules for management review.
Cash Flow Management
Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts.
Provide insights and recommendations to support cash flow planning andmanagement.
Audit & Financial Compliance
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
Coordinate external and internal audit activities (if applicable).
Serve as the primary contact for auditors and facilitate timely resolution ofaudit queries (if applicable).
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and statutoryrequirements.
Tax Compliance
Check GST submissions and related reconciliations
Review Corporate Income Tax filings prepared by tax agent
Liaise with tax agents and relevant authorities on tax related matters.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and reporting deadlines.
Administrative & Finance Operations Support
Support finance related administrative matters, including documentation,approvals, and record management.
Maintain finance policies, procedures, and documentation.
Assist with finance projects and ad hoc assignments as required.
Support business continuity and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) will be an advantage.
Minimum 6-8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably with a mix of external audit and commercial finance experience.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in afast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
