Finance Manager (International Business)
Purpose:
This regional role leads the standardization of financial controls, supports ERP implementation, ensures tax and statutory compliance, and drives consistent financial reporting across VDL companies in Asia to support business growth.
Key areas of responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and implement a standardized financial control framework across VDL companies in Asia to align with VDL accounting principles and comply with local accounting standards and statutory requirements
- Prepare VDL Asia companies for the Infor LN ERP system implementation as part of the global ERP rollout
- Support the rollout and maintenance of the regional tax framework, transfer pricing documentation, and compliance with local tax regulations for VDL ETG Asia as the regional hub
- Monitor, improve, and consolidate financial reporting from VDL companies across Asia for submission to VDL Headquarters
- Develop and implement a standardized business control framework in accordance with VDL standards
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams across Asia to drive finance transformation and compliance initiatives
- Analyze financial data to identify issues and recommend improvements in financial controls and reporting processes
- Communicate complex financial and tax information clearly to stakeholders to facilitate decision-making
Qualification &Experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within multinational manufacturing or engineering environments
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience in ERP implementation or finance transformation projects, preferably with Infor LN or other enterprise ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, financial controls, and statutory compliance
- Good understanding of transfer pricing, regional tax compliance, and international finance operations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
