About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to lead financial operations for our retail business in Cebu City. This role is responsible for financial planning, reporting, compliance, and supporting strategic decisions to drive profitability and growth across retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Develop and manage annual budgets and financial plans aligned with business objectives
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control initiatives
- Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
- Partner with retail operations teams to optimize margins and inventory management
- Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Experience in retail, FMCG, or multi-branch operations is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and Philippine tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
