Financial and Operations Optimization Manager
About the Role:
We are looking for a Financial and Operations Optimization Manager to drive measurable efficiency and profitability across the organization. In this role, you will analyze company performance, uncover improvement opportunities, and partner with cross-functional teams to reduce costs, streamline processes, and optimize production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the company's financial and operational performance to identify improvement opportunities and efficiency gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize production processes.
- Validate savings initiatives, ensuring proposed benefits are accurate, measurable, and supported by reliable data.
- Review and approve cost-reduction and cost-avoidance projects, tracking them from proposal through realized impact.
- Deliver timely, clear performance insights and reporting to leadership to support strong operational results.
- Monitor project pipelines and savings targets, escalating risks and recommending corrective actions.
- Build and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and business cases that make performance visible across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the financial department, including exposure to cost analysis, financial planning, or operational finance.
- Fully bilingual (Spanish – English), with strong professional communication in both languages, spoken and written.
- Proven experience validating savings initiatives and evaluating cost-reduction or cost-avoidance projects.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (SAP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business-partnering skills, with the ability to influence teams outside of Finance.
