Financial Controller

Key responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting and financial operations.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
Ensure accuracy of financial records and transactions.
Develop and monitor budgets and cash flow.
Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls.
Ensure compliance with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors and other financial stakeholders.
Analyze financial performance and highlight risks and opportunities.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Lead and develop the finance/accounting team.

Job requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
7+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably with experience in a controlling role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Excellent knowledge of ERP/accounting systems and Excel.
Strong understanding of internal controls and financial processes.
Experience with audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
Experience in the EdTech, technology, or high-growth environment is a plus.
