Financial Controller - Norway

Manage financial control for a large-scale data center, including CAPEX and OPEX management, project and energy cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, payables and receivables, supplier audits, fraud investigations, Norwegian accounting and VAT compliance, and cost-driver analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track CAPEX and OPEX for data center operations and expansion
• Support budgeting and forecasting, including infrastructure costs
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with supplier financial audits and forensic investigations
• Ensure compliance with Norwegian accounting standards and VAT reporting
• Monitor and analyze cost drivers such as power usage, maintenance, and vendor spend
• Provide financial insights for operational and investment decisions
• Work with procurement, project teams, and operations

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Experience in financial controlling, budgeting, and cost analysis
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Power Office, SAP, Oracle, or Visma
• Experience in industrial, infrastructure, and project-based environments
• Familiarity with Norwegian accounting regulations and tax requirements
• Experience in data centers, energy, or construction projects
• Understanding of cost drivers in large-scale projects and operations
