Financial Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Financial Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding the client base, and building strong long-term relationships. The role involves developing and implementing strategic plans to promote the firm’s services, generate leads, and achieve revenue targets throughout outbound strategies, and handling the inbound leads.

1. Sales Generation

  • Own the full sales cycle for inbound and outbound leads — qualification, discovery calls, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Convert marketing-generated leads (Google Ads and other campaigns) into signed clients through prompt follow-up and structured discovery calls, rather than competing on price.
  • Proactively generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and referral relationships with business setup consultants, lawyers, and banks.
  • Prepare tiered proposals matched to client size and complexity, and follow up on a disciplined cadence until each deal is closed or disqualified.
  • Identify and pursue upsell/cross-sell opportunities across bookkeeping, VAT, and audit services within the existing client base.
  • Maintain the CRM as the single source of truth for every lead and deal, and report weekly on pipeline, conversion rate, and revenue generated against target.

2. Client Onboarding

  • Lead the onboarding process for every newly signed client, acting as the main point of contact from contract signature until the account is fully handed over to the delivery team.
  • Collect and verify all required client documentation (trade licence, prior financial records, bank statements, VAT registration details, authorized signatory information) needed to begin work without delay.
  • Run a structured onboarding/kick-off call with each new client to set expectations — scope of work, timelines, reporting frequency, points of contact, and deliverable deadlines.
  • Coordinate the internal handover to the bookkeeping/accounting team, ensuring nothing agreed during the sales process is lost or miscommunicated at delivery stage.
  • Monitor the first 60–90 days of each new client relationship, checking in proactively to catch early issues, confirm satisfaction, and reduce early-stage churn.
  • Maintain an onboarding checklist/tracker per client and report on onboarding turnaround time and any bottlenecks slowing client activation.

Skills

Desired Skills & Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in accounting, audit, tax, or financial services.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and closing new business.
  • Strong experience managing the full sales cycle, including inbound/outbound leads, negotiation, and closing.
  • Excellent business development, networking, cold calling, and relationship-building skills.
  • Good knowledge of the UAE business market and professional services.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and upselling/cross-selling abilities.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence dealing with business owners and senior decision-makers.
  • Highly organized, proactive, target-driven, and client-focused.
  • Experience or knowledge of accounting, VAT, corporate tax, or audit services is an advantage.
