The Training & Security Specialist promotes, maintains, and oversees the overall safety and security of staff and patients at the Forensic Mental Health Facility (FMHF). Position ensures that all staff are properly trained in secure-facility practices, including emergency protocols, patient interaction, de-escalation procedures, contraband control, and overall facility operations. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating the work of Forensic Mental Health Technicians, facilitating drills, evaluating staff competency, and reinforcing compliance with policies and procedures.
