FP&A Manager/Senior Manager
Own the financial operating system for LayerZero by partnering with the CFO and executive team on planning, forecasting, resource allocation, strategic decision-making, token economics, on-chain revenue, and board reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual operating plan, long-range plan, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly outlooks.
- Own the integrated three-statement and driver-based operating model.
- Run planning calendars, target-setting, allocation, and approval workflows.
- Partner with executive and functional leaders on resource allocation, headcount strategy, and investment decisions.
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews and executive operating reviews.
- Prepare board materials, investor updates, KPI reporting, and the company’s financial narrative.
- Build financial frameworks for token economics, on-chain revenue, ecosystem incentives, and digital asset flows.
- Build the strategic finance function, including hiring, development, planning technology, BI, and data pipelines.
Requirements
- 4-8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, including meaningful in-house experience in high-growth tech, fintech, or crypto.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or a related quantitative field; MBA, CFA, or CPA is a plus.
- Experience owning company-wide planning cycles and partnering with C-suite stakeholders.
- Exceptional financial modeling and operating model experience.
- Proven people leadership and experience hiring, managing, and developing strategic finance talent.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills.
- Deep NetSuite or comparable ERP experience and familiarity with modern planning tools such as Anaplan, Pigment, Cube, Mosaic, or Adaptive.
- SQL or BI tool fluency, including Looker, Tableau, or Hex, is strongly preferred.
- Interest in crypto and blockchain; exposure to token models, on-chain data, or digital asset accounting is a plus.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, multi-entity environments.
- Track record of building a strategic finance function or significant part of one from scratch.
