Front-End Cashier - Excelsior

Please Note: Pay Range is based on job experience.

As a Cashier at Kowalski’s, you’re often the final touchpoint in a guest’s shopping experience, giving you the chance to leave a lasting impression. You’ll smoothly and accurately process orders, scan items, accept a variety of payment methods, and thoughtfully package groceries with care and attention to detail. Along the way, you’ll build speed, confidence and memorization skills that will grow with you over time. Most importantly, you’ll create genuine connections with customers through friendly conversation and attentive service. You’ll be part of a supportive team that takes pride in making every interaction feel warm and welcoming. No experience? That’s perfectly fine! We’ll train you and help you grow. As part of our team, you’ll help bring the joy of good food to life with every guest you serve.

Cashiers will go through our paid training program that offers the advantage of real-time, in-person training with expert trainers. They will receive technical education as well as hands-on experience from day one. Our training program offers Cashiers the basic knowledge and support that will allow them the confidence to begin their jobs at their home store.

Store Hours:

6 am - 10 pm

Requirements:

• Ability to work 18 - 28 hours/week Must have year-round availability

• Early Morning/Opener and Mid/Eve Shift Cashier

Must have availability Monday - Sunday starting at 6am to 10pm

Must be able to work Sunday's

• Ability to be scheduled within store operating hours
• Comfortability with speaking to customers in an energetic and helpful manner
• Holiday availability
• Ability to work in and enjoy a fast-paced environment but also be motivated to complete tasks during down times
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
