Front End Engineer
Develop functional and appealing applications across the company website, client-facing web portal, and internal web apps. Apply strong web development, design, customer experience, and communication skills in a fully remote LATAM-based role at a high-growth digital-assets infrastructure startup.
Responsibilities
- Structure and design webpages
- Build UI enhancements
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
- Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
- Maintain brand consistency throughout the design
- Promote product excellence through thought leadership and mentorship
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in fintech
- Professional experience in JavaScript
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Familiarity with backend programming in Go
- Solid understanding of design principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Resourceful, scrappy, get-it-done mindset
- Ability to work independently through ambiguity and test hypotheses
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience at a banking-as-a-service, brokerage-as-a-service, or payment-as-a-service business
- Digital-assets experience preferred but not required
