Front End Engineer
Develop functional and appealing applications across the company website, client-facing web portal, and internal web apps, with a focus on design, development, deployment, customer experience, and product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Structure and design webpages
- Build user interface enhancements
- Optimize webpages for maximum speed and scalability
- Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
- Maintain brand consistency throughout the design
- Promote product excellence through thought leadership and mentoring
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in fintech
- Professional experience in JavaScript
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Familiarity with backend programming in Go
- Solid understanding of key design principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Resourceful, scrappy, get-it-done mindset
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to independently test hypotheses and solve problems without well-defined direction
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience with banking-as-a-service, brokerage-as-a-service, or payment-as-a-service businesses preferred
- Experience with digital assets preferred but not required
