We now invite applications for the captioned post, who will involve in the Jockey Club End-of-Life Community Care Project ().

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To lead a team of training officers and research officers in the project and to make sure all the training and research deliverables are delivered on time
  • Perform administrative roles and prepare regular reports to the funder, collaborators and directors
  • Participate in teaching of professional training programmes and engage in public education activities of the Project
  • Support and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or above in Social Work, Gerontology, Mental Health, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Counselling, Management or related discipline
  • At least 5-8 years’ relevant work experience in managing professional and public education project, preferably in medical and social work topics
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English
  • Knowledge in palliative care, family counseling, use of art, use of therapeutic groups and bereavement care would be an advantage
  • Applicants with less experience or qualifications may be considered for appointment as Lecturer or Assistant Lecturer

What We Offer

The appointment will commence from as soon as possible on a temporary basis until June 30, 2027. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
