Fullstack Engineer - Frontend Focus
Own the user experience by designing, building, and polishing dashboards, consoles, and customer-facing applications. Ship features end to end from Figma wireframes through React components, backend APIs, and database migrations. Design a React and Tailwind component system, optimize performance with SSR and real-time updates, collaborate with engineers, designers, and founders, and mentor junior engineers while improving engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Own the user experience across dashboards, consoles, and customer-facing applications.
- Ship end-to-end features from Figma wireframes through React components, backend APIs, and database migrations.
- Design a React and Tailwind component system for rapid iteration and cohesive design.
- Optimize performance using SSR, code-splitting, hydration, and WebSocket-driven updates.
- Collaborate with distributed-systems engineers, product designers, and founders.
- Lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and introduce best practices for testing, accessibility, and observability.
Requirements
- 5+ years building production React applications.
- Deep knowledge of Tailwind CSS and modern CSS architecture.
- TypeScript mastery and strong fundamentals in JavaScript, DOM, and APIs.
- Experience designing REST/JSON or gRPC backends using Node, Go, or similar.
- Experience with AuthN/AuthZ design, including OIDC and JWT.
- Strong product sense with attention to UX details and accessibility.
- Experience with Tanstack or Next.js is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with data-visualization libraries such as Recharts, Visx, or D3 is a nice-to-have.
- tRPC experience is a nice-to-have.
- Familiarity with GPU or ML tooling dashboards is a nice-to-have.
- Comfort debugging performance issues with Lighthouse or Chrome DevTools is a nice-to-have.
- CI/CD, Docker, and Terraform experience is a nice-to-have.
