Fund Management Analyst

Join MicroVentures' Fund Management team and support the full investment life cycle for more than 800 venture funds, including fund accounting, investor notices, payments, databases, tax forms, compliance, and collaboration with internal leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the establishment and maintenance of over 800 venture funds
• Prepare investor notices, including capital call, fee, and distribution notices
• Process outgoing and incoming payments
• Maintain key databases for fund and investor data requests
• Participate in fund-related special projects
• Assist in preparing applicable tax forms, including Form 1065
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and fund specifications
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, and executive leadership teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics
• At least one year of work experience, preferably in the financial industry
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to identify trends, causes, and effects
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Strategic thinking and focus on continuous improvement
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
• Proficiency with Office Suite, especially Excel formulas, macros, and pivot tables
