General Manager
Senior business leadership role responsible for turning Cryptopay’s Luxembourg EMI setup into a scalable commercial offering, including product direction, market positioning, go-to-market execution, revenue growth, team development, and governance.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end development and commercialization of a product offering built around the Luxembourg EMI license.
- Define the product vision, value proposition, target use cases, and business concept.
- Identify and validate target markets, customer segments, client needs, competitive positioning, and revenue opportunities.
- Define the product scope, business model, pricing, commercial positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
- Develop the product and business roadmap, including capabilities, resources, partnerships, and operational infrastructure.
- Lead market validation, pilot clients, implementation, launch, and transition to commercial operation.
- Build and scale the required team and organizational capabilities.
- Establish operational processes, ownership structures, and cross-functional coordination.
- Secure initial clients and generate early revenue for the EMI product.
- Manage regulatory, operational, commercial, and execution risks within the governance framework.
- Report performance, risks, and key decisions to the Group CEO.
Requirements
- Significant senior experience in business, product, commercial, or general management within payments, banking infrastructure, or regulated financial services.
- Experience defining, building, and launching a new product, business line, or commercial proposition from an early stage.
- Strong understanding of EMI and payments, including payment infrastructure, banking partnerships, account and payment products, embedded finance, BaaS, or cross-border financial services.
- Strong product and business judgment with the ability to assess market opportunities and priorities.
- Ability to take a product from concept and validation through build, launch, initial sales, and scaling.
- Ability to own a business initiative with high autonomy, accountability, and execution focus.
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial judgment, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Fluent professional English.
