Global Investigator - National Security

Investigate complex blockchain crime cases, conduct time-sensitive analysis, produce written reports and briefings, research blockchain crime categories, develop attribution sources, respond to high-priority incidents, and support time-sensitive investigations.

Responsibilities

• Investigate phishing, exploits, hacks, terrorism finance, account takeovers, money laundering, SIM swaps, ransomware, and other illicit blockchain activity
• Conduct time-sensitive blockchain analysis
• Produce written reports and deliver briefings to senior stakeholders and customers
• Conduct long-term research into blockchain crime and convert findings into intelligence
• Conduct sensitive investigations for partners
• Build relationships with industry partners to develop attribution sources
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for high-priority events
• React to movement of funds during ongoing investigations
• Support other teams on time-sensitive issues

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
• Preferably 3-5 years of combined investigator or analyst experience
• Practical experience with virtual currencies and blockchain analysis
• Experience briefing senior leaders
• Experience structuring problems and prioritizing critical issues
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels
• Commitment to supporting teammates
