A small and productive team is looking for a Middle Go Developer to assist an experienced Senior Engineer. Our project is growing, and the task scope is expanding, so we are seeking a reliable specialist ready to dive into backend microservice development, write clean code, and grow alongside the team.
What you will do:
Development and support of Go microservices
Design and optimization of REST API / gRPC
Participation in architectural discussions alongside the Senior Engineer
Writing unit and integration tests
Database optimization and Code Review
Our expectations (Must have):
1–2+ years of commercial Go development experience
Solid knowledge of Concurrency (goroutines, channels, context)
Experience working with PostgreSQL / MySQL (writing and optimizing SQL queries)
Understanding of REST API and gRPC / Protocol Buffers
Experience using Docker and Git
Basic knowledge of NoSQL (Redis / Memcached)
Ability to use AI tools for code generation and AI agents for automating routine tasks to increase productivity
Understanding of SOLID, DRY, KISS principles and clean architecture
Nice to have:
Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ / Kafka)
Understanding of Kubernetes / CI/CD basics
Basic Linux skills
