Grants and Special Programs Manager
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Grants & Special Programs Manager position is a vital role focused on securing funding and resources to support organizational initiatives. This position will be responsible for developing grants, monitoring grant activities, and advancing Health West’s strategic priorities and mission of promoting health and wellness in the community.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
- Generate revenue for health center programs by identifying goals, timetables, program needs, and funding that support our patients, communities, and organization.
- Research grant funding and charitable donation opportunities, develop and submit grant proposals, and track and monitor grant activities.
- Monitor grant program progress, analyze data, and prepare reports pre- and post-award to ensure compliance with federal, state, and county laws and standards.
- Maintain electronic records and knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations.
- Work closely with Executive Leadership and provide timely updates on grant requirements, procedures, deadlines, and status.
- Build and foster relationships with internal and external sponsors and stakeholders.
- Assist with completion and reporting for the Community Needs Assessment and HRSA Service Area Competition (SAC) grant application
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Attend company and departmental meetings.
- Exhibit a positive, professional attitude at all times with supervisor, co-workers, health center personnel, patients, and the community at large while adhering strictly to the confidentiality of company financial and patient information.
