GRID CONNECTION MANAGER

Functions:

Check viability of grid connections for all projects and manage grid connections in multiple locations
Ensure grid connections are completed according to design and AutoCAD drawings
Prepare grid applications and follow up on the process as required
Manage activities of all project sites using project management tools
Plan, define and manage the deliverables and resource requirements for each client project
Ensure that resources are delivered in the right quantity, quality, and on time within project budget
Define and monitor efficiency, effectiveness and success of the operations activities using adequate controlling tools
Prepare and present project reports to senior management
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards
Ensure safety on all sites by complying with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Minimum of a 1st degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 8 years experience working in a similar role with good knowledge of grid connection processes
Strong project management experience
Experience of using project management tools is highly desirable – PMP, PRINCE 2 or MS Project
Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings
