Group Legal Manager


1. Preparing risk-benefit and analysis judgments, pre-qualification, commercial calculations.


2. Work with Risk Management Department / Finance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements.


3. Monitor the risk environment and act to reduce the group’s risk exposure.


4. Make recommendations on response and resolutions to risks and issues and changes to applicable laws and regulations


5. Review, Evaluation and Analysis of new investment opportunity in public/private market.


6. Guide management on a wide range of commercial and legal issues, including commercial transactions, finance, regulatory, corporate governance, trade, insurance, maintenance, and tax


7. Handle the full range of the legal issues and responsible for advising on commercial and business development arrangements.


8. Monitor compliance by company employees with established procedures.Identify, secure, and manage legal activities and contracts.


9. Ensure compliance of all the requirements of a project on time and within specification.


10. Contracts Drafting, Evaluation, Negotiation and Execution.


11. Drafting and handling MOA, BOA, Court memorandums, Legal notices


12. Examination and verification of all documents related to transactions


13. Ensure contract close-out, extension, or renewal.


14. Ensures proper records are kept of each transaction and adheres to any filing or naming conventions applicable to the team.


15. Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.


16. Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy.


17. Drafts reviews, varies and (in support of the relevant business lead and under the supervision of Head of Contracts, Legal Counsel and/ or General Counsel) negotiates the terms and conditions of contracts.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is required; a master's degree or post-graduate diploma in law, compliance, or business is an advantage.

Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in legal practice and in-hand experience in legal & compliance roles, preferably within corporate business.

Hands-on experience in handling legal documentation, company secretarial duties, and contract negotiation.

Experience advising on corporate law, commercial contracts, labor/employment matters, and regulatory compliance.

Must have a valid UAE driving license.
