Growth Manager Africa

Own the full growth funnel for Africa, including P2P marketplace growth, user acquisition, activation, retention, reactivation, CRM, community campaigns, analytics, experimentation, and cross-functional product input.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end P2P growth strategy for Africa.
• Recruit and manage P2P merchants and high-volume traders.
• Optimise payment corridors, supported payment methods, and P2P liquidity.
• Develop localised acquisition and community-led growth campaigns.
• Improve registration, KYC, deposit, and first-trade conversion.
• Design activation, retention, loyalty, reactivation, and win-back programmes.
• Own CRM campaigns across push, in-app, email, and SMS.
• Run A/B tests and maintain an experimentation backlog.
• Own weekly and monthly growth reporting and cohort analysis.
• Translate insights into stakeholder recommendations and product roadmap input.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, user acquisition, or lifecycle marketing.
• Hands-on understanding of P2P crypto trading mechanics and African payment corridors.
• Track record of growing a crypto or fintech user base across acquisition, activation, and retention.
• Experience with CRM and lifecycle tools such as Braze, CleverTap, or OneSignal.
• Experience with Tableau, Looker, or Metabase and cohort and funnel analysis.
• Familiarity with Pakistan's digital payments landscape.
• Experience managing Telegram, WhatsApp, or Discord community channels for crypto growth.
• Written and verbal communication skills in Urdu and English.
• Understanding of crypto regulation and compliance constraints in Africa.
• Experience at a Tier-1 or Tier-2 centralised exchange with P2P functionality preferred.
• Familiarity with Dune, Nansen, or Glassnode preferred.
• SQL proficiency preferred.
