Growth Manager - Asia

This early, high-ownership role serves as Ellipsis Labs' primary bridge to Asian crypto trading ecosystems. The manager will develop local relationships, market intelligence, and trust through direct engagement across the region.

Responsibilities

• Map the Asian crypto trading landscape, including retail traders, whale accounts, and market makers.
• Build and cultivate relationships with high-value traders and ecosystem participants across Asia.
• Develop and execute a strategy to win Asian traders onto Phoenix, focusing on retail-whale accounts.
• Represent Ellipsis Labs at industry events and in direct community settings with KOLs and trading communities.
• Surface competitive dynamics, trader preferences, emerging platforms, and sentiment shifts to the team.
• Work with the broader team to refine regional strategy over time.

Requirements

• Deep roots in crypto spanning multiple market cycles.
• Strong existing network in the Asian trading ecosystem.
• Background at or alongside a centralized exchange, trading firm, or DeFi protocol.
• Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese with strong English communication skills.
• High agency, sound judgment, independence, and ability to operate with limited supervision.
• Existing relationships with whale traders, market makers, or institutional accounts in the region preferred.
• Experience with on-chain trading products, perpetuals, or DeFi protocols preferred.
• Comfort traveling within Asia and to the US 8 weeks per year preferred.
