As a Guidewire Portal Developer- Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions within our Guidewire practice. You will be at the forefront of client engagements, leveraging your technical skills to develop and implement Guidewire applications that meet client needs. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations.

Responsibilities

- Leading the development and configuration of Guidewire Portal.
- Managing client support and engagement workstreams within the insurance sector technology domain
- Guiding teams in the strategic implementation of Guidewire solutions to meet client needs
- Utilizing analytical thinking and software development methodologies to enhance system integration
- Overseeing the deployment of Guidewire PolicyCenter software to optimize client operations
- Promoting the adoption of innovative technologies and practices within the Guidewire competency network
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to identify and address technical challenges
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff to develop their skills in Guidewire application consulting
- Confirming data integrity and compliance within software development frameworks
- Identifying opportunities for improving business performance through strategic questioning and system development

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8+ years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Hands on experience in Guidewire products Portal backend & frontend.
- Well versed in one of streams – Configuration.
- Strong knowledge in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting / UI / Data Model).
- Demonstrating proficiency in Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter Configuration
- Excelling in software development methodologies and system development
- Utilizing strategic questioning and analytical thinking in client engagements
- Embracing change and fostering innovation within technology projects
- Developing skills in coaching and mentoring junior staff members
