Hardware Validation & Debug Engineer

Validate and debug Graphcore’s silicon platforms in the lab, lead system validation, investigate high-speed interface issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate across architecture, silicon, hardware, and firmware teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on system validation in the lab
• Debug PCIe, Ethernet, and SerDes issues
• Drive root-cause analysis
• Bring new hardware platforms into operation
• Work with architecture, silicon, hardware, and firmware teams

Requirements

• Experience validating and debugging complex hardware systems
• Experience with PCIe Root Complex bring-up, debugging, and protocol analysis
• Experience debugging Ethernet SerDes systems and high-speed interfaces
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, BERT systems, VNA/TDR equipment, and protocol analysers
• Root-cause analysis across signal integrity and subsystem issues
• Ability to work independently and drive technical issues across multiple teams
