Head of Finance, Healthcare Operations, Al-Futtaim Health, Dubai
HealthHub, part of Al-Futtaim Health, is seeking an experienced Head of Finance with a proven background in healthcare finance to lead financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision-making across our growing healthcare business.
This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for driving financial performance across a network of clinics, healthcare services, and future expansion initiatives.
Please note: This position requires extensive healthcare finance experience. Applicants from non-healthcare sectors will not be considered.
About the Role
We are looking for a commercially focused finance leader who understands the operational and financial dynamics of healthcare businesses.
The successful candidate will have a strong background supporting hospitals, clinic networks, medical centres, healthcare groups, or other healthcare service providers and will be comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.
You will work closely with executive leadership to support growth, optimise performance, improve profitability, and ensure robust financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and long-range financial modelling.
Deliver meaningful financial insights to support executive decision-making.
Monitor financial performance and identify risks, opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives.
Develop business cases and feasibility studies for new clinics, healthcare services, and expansion projects.
Healthcare Business Performance
Drive financial performance reviews across clinics and healthcare business units.
Support operational leaders in improving profitability and efficiency.
Monitor physician productivity, clinic performance, payer mix, revenue trends, and healthcare KPIs.
Support healthcare service line development and growth initiatives.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure robust financial controls, governance, audit readiness, and compliance.
Oversee monthly reporting, statutory requirements, and financial controls.
Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory stakeholders.
Leadership
Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Partner closely with senior leadership to support strategic objectives.
Skills
Essential Requirements
Mandatory
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CFA.
Minimum 10 years' finance experience.
Minimum 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
