Head of People - U.S.
Lead Elliptic's US People function as a senior strategic partner to US leadership, driving people strategy, talent development, organizational design, workforce planning, culture, and employee relations in a high-growth technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with US senior leadership on strategic people matters and business outcomes.
- Own and execute the US People strategy in alignment with global People leadership.
- Lead workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and team structure initiatives.
- Embed performance, compensation, and hybrid working programs across the US.
- Provide senior escalation support for complex employee relations matters.
- Lead, manage, and develop the US People Partners team.
- Oversee US People function budget and headcount planning.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on role scoping, candidate selection, offers, and onboarding.
- Support employee development, performance management, conduct issues, and compensation processes.
- Translate people data into insights for leadership decision-making.
- Advance inclusion, wellbeing, psychological safety, culture, and international scaling initiatives.
Requirements
- Significant senior strategic HR leadership experience, such as Head of People, Senior People Partner, or HR Business Partner leader.
- Experience managing and developing a team, ideally in a scaling technology or international environment.
- Business-savvy and commercially aware understanding of organizational and people needs.
- Credibility with senior leaders, strong coaching skills, and the ability to challenge with empathy.
- Outcome-focused approach to simplifying, improving, and scaling processes.
- Strong knowledge of US employment law and multi-state compliance.
- Comfort using HRIS systems, survey platforms, spreadsheets, data, and AI solutions.
- Resilience, flexibility, and comfort operating in ambiguity and through organizational change.
