Head of QA/QC (Corporate Quality Manager)
• Lead and manage the Corporate QA/QC Department across multiple ongoing projects.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Corporate Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and company standards.
• Establish and monitor quality policies, procedures, KPIs, quality objectives, and reporting systems.
• Supervise and mentor Project QA/QC Managers, QA/QC Engineers, Inspectors, and quality teams.
• Ensure effective implementation of Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality procedures.
• Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of NCRs and corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor quality performance, including audits, inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and material approvals.
• Oversee testing & commissioning activities, project handover documentation, punch-list management, and closeout processes.
• Coordinate with Operations, Technical Office, Procurement, Engineering, and Project Management to maintain consistent quality standards across all projects.
• Prepare executive quality reports and present quality performance to senior management.
Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry. Minimum 3 years' experience as Head of QA/QC, Corporate QA/QC Manager, Regional QA/QC Manager, Group QA/QC Manager, or managing multiple projects within a contractor organization.
• Strong contractor-side experience in: Buildings; Infrastructure; Utilities; MEP; Project Closeout & Handover
• Extensive knowledge of: Construction methods; Quality standards; Materials; Inspection procedures.
• Proven experience implementing: ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems; Internal & External Audits; KPIs; NCR Management; Root Cause Analysis; Corrective & Preventive Actions; Quality Reporting.
• Experience managing Project QA/QC Managers, Engineers, Inspectors, and multidisciplinary quality teams.
• Hands-on experience with: Supplier & Vendor Quality Management; Subcontractor Quality Control; Testing & Commissioning; Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT); Site Acceptance Tests (SAT); Final Handover Documentation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong coordination experience with Operations, Technical Office, Procurement, Engineering, and Project Management teams.
Professional certifications such as IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, PMP, ASQ CQM/CMQ-OE, Six Sigma, or equivalent are highly preferred.
