The Healthcare Enrollment & Family Support Specialist (also know as the Exchange Enrollment Facilitator) provides direct support to individuals and families seeking assistance with Nevada Medicaid and Nevada Health Link enrollment. This position will assist community members with understanding available healthcare coverage options, completing applications, navigating eligibility requirements, and addressing barriers that may impact access to healthcare coverage. The role will conduct enrollment appointments, participate in community outreach and engagement events, provide education and resources, and maintain accurate documentation and tracking of enrollment activities in alignment with grant requirements. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred, and strong administrative computer skills are required to effectively communicate and collaborate with the families we serve.

These are some of the additional responsibilities of the Healthcare Enrollment & Family Support Specialist:
- Provide onsite, mobile, virtual, and community-based enrollment assistance at BGCTM Clubhouses, Early Learning Centers, schools, and partner sites across rural Northern Nevada.
- Assist families with Nevada Health Link navigation, Medicaid and Battle Born State Plans enrollment and reenrollment, eligibility verification, document completion, and referrals.
- Oversee grant management activities by maintaining accurate documentation and tracking of enrollment and participant activities, including data entry, recordkeeping, preparing required documentation, and completing reporting requirements.
- Conduct outreach through school partnerships, community events, and facilitating family engagement nights.
- Provide education and resources related to health coverage, benefits, and healthcare access to families.

Schedule:
- This position is full-time and scheduled Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays required.
- Travel will be required approximately 3 to 4 days per month to attend meetings, events, trainings, and other organizational activities at locations in Lyon, Humboldt, Pershing, Nye, and White Pine counties.
