HR Business Partner
Serve as the primary day-to-day HR contact for managers and employees across the company, covering the full employee lifecycle. Own employee relations cases, coach managers through performance conversations and corrective action, lead cyclical People programs, use AI tools to accelerate HR work, and partner with Finance and Talent Acquisition on workforce planning and hiring consistency.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact across the full employee lifecycle
- Build trusted relationships with people leaders and provide organizational insights to the VP, People
- Own employee relations cases from intake through resolution
- Escalate legal, compliance, or executive-level exposure appropriately
- Coach managers through performance conversations, feedback, corrective action, and disciplinary processes
- Support manager onboarding and development
- Lead performance reviews, engagement survey action planning, calibrations, and compensation cycle support
- Contribute to workforce planning and headcount scenario discussions
- Identify organizational design friction and propose solutions
- Use AI tools for routine HR work and design AI-assisted prompts, templates, and playbooks
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on role scoping, leveling, and hiring process consistency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 4-8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2+ years in an HRBP or business-facing HR role
- Ability to independently handle complex employee relations matters
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, judgment, and ambiguity-management skills
- Proficiency in HR data analysis and reporting
- Strong business acumen in a SaaS fintech context
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
- Experience with Rippling or a comparable HRIS
- High-growth SaaS or fintech experience strongly preferred
