HR Executive (Payroll)

The Job

You will manage end-to-end payroll processes and contribute to HR objectives by resolving employee queries and maintaining confidentiality within the Human Resources department.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process daily, weekly, and monthly payroll accurately to ensure timely employee compensation
  • Manage ad-hoc payments including final salary processing, medical claims, and issuance of official letters
  • Submit statutory payments such as CPF, IR21, and IR8A in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Submit Government Paid Leaves (GPL) accurately and on time
  • Generate monthly payroll reconciliation reports to verify payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Review and update employee data changes related to new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments
  • Submit absentee payroll data to WSG and manage leave records via the ESS portal
  • Support HR projects by contributing relevant payroll and employee data insights
  • Respond promptly and effectively to employees’ HR-related queries to maintain positive employee relations
  • Ensure all payroll computations and payouts comply with MOM, CPF, IRAS, and other local regulations
  • Investigate and resolve payroll disputes with strong attention to detail and urgency
  • Submit government and insurance claims punctually to avoid penalties
  • Foster a collaborative team environment with a one-team mentality and zero blame culture
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by management to support department goals

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of payroll experience managing 400 to 700 employees
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and Word
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Results-driven with strong execution, organizational skills, and a systematic approach
  • High integrity, positive attitude, and strong team commitment
