HR Generalist
Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our HR Business Partnering team as a HR Generalist to be based in Doha, Qatar.
This role plays a pivotal part in driving people initiatives, supporting the employee lifecycle, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders across the business, providing expert guidance on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and talent development.
Specific responsibilities for the role include:
Partner with line managers to provide day-to-day HR guidance and support.
Assist in implementing HR strategies and people initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Support recruitment activities, including job description development and approval processes.
Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are consistently applied across the business.
Act as a key point of contact for HR-related communications and information sharing.
Provide advice and support on performance management, disciplinary matters, and employee attendance issues.
Assist managers with performance reviews, development planning, promotions, transfers, and other employee-related matters.
Deliver coaching and guidance to managers on people management best practices.
Maintain accurate employee and departmental records.
Prepare and manage HR correspondence, reports, presentations, and documentation.
Gather and analyze HR metrics and data to support business decision-making.
Conduct research on HR best practices and recommend process improvements.
