HR Generalist – Regional

This role works closely with Location Managers, Country HR teams, and the HR Business Partner to ensure effective execution of HR programs, policies, and processes in line with business needs and Head Office guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Location Managers and Country HR teams in HR strategies.

  • Work with Country HR teams to ensure alignment with global HR policies and local labour laws.

  • Support manpower planning reviews and HR reporting.

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interviews, and background checks.

  • Assist in employer branding initiatives across the region.

  • Employee Engagement & Relations.

  • Support employee engagement surveys and focus group activities.

  • Assist in change management and organizational development initiatives.

  • Serve as a first-point HR contact for employee queries and provide basic counselling support.

  • Support annual appraisal and performance management processes for the purpose of salary review, promotion exercises, and job levelling activities.

  • Assist in compensation benchmarking and market surveys.

  • Coordinate learning programs, training activities, and development initiatives.

  • Prepare periodic HR reports and dashboards (headcount, turnover, workforce metrics).

  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.

  • CSR & Compliance Support.

  • Support implementation of Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements.

  • Assist in CSR audits preparation, coordination, and follow-up actions.

  • Help monitor workplace health, safety, and compliance matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology.

  • 3+ years of relevant HR experience, ideally in generalist or multi-functional HR roles within multinational or fast-paced environments.

  • Prior exposure to end-to-end HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, training) preferred.

  • Solid knowledge of HR fundamentals.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Good organisation, time management, and multitasking capabilities.

  • HR systems proficiency (HRIS, ATS, MS Office) and data-driven mindset for reporting and analytics.

  • High standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

  • Professional HR certification such as IHRP (Institute for Human Resource Professionals), CIPD, or SHRM credentials.

  • Experience supporting regional HR coordination / multi-country stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated capability in employee engagement, learning & development support or CSR compliance.
