HR Manager - $8000

We are looking for a hands-on HR Manager to take full ownership of the HR function in a growing Singapore SME. This is a solo HR role with end-to-end responsibility across HR operations, payroll, recruitment, employee engagement and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full HR function, including payroll, CPF, IRAS and MOM work pass administration, foreign worker quota and HR compliance.
• Lead high-volume recruitment for blue-collar roles including drivers, technicians and warehouse staff, while partnering with the founders on senior-level hiring.
• Maintain HR systems, employee records, onboarding processes and HR reporting.
• Develop and implement the Employee Handbook, onboarding framework and performance management processes.
• Manage employee relations, performance discussions and exit processes with a firm but approachable manner.
• Organise quarterly staff engagement activities and festive events to maintain the company's strong culture.
• Provide regular HR insights to the founders covering workforce, recruitment, compliance, attendance and people costs.
• Build efficient HR processes and progressively take full autonomy of the HR function.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on HR generalist experience, preferably within a Singapore SME of approximately 40–150 employees.
• Proven experience independently managing HR operations, including payroll and MOM work pass administration.
• Strong experience recruiting blue-collar / operational staff in a high-volume environment.
• Good understanding of Singapore employment legislation, CPF, IRAS, MOM requirements and foreign-worker regulations.
• Comfortable working independently in a hands-on environment, including supporting factory, warehouse and operational teams.
• Experience organising staff engagement activities and company events will be advantageous.
