HR Manager
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing the complete HR function for the company’s restaurant and franchise operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time, on-site position involving recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, HR compliance, training, payroll coordination, and employee engagement.
The role will develop and implement HR policies and procedures, maintain accurate and confidential employee records, and ensure the fair and consistent application of HR practices across all locations. The HR Manager will also support managers with workforce planning, talent development, employee retention, and day-to-day HR-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, probation, performance reviews, employee development, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including employment contracts, attendance, leave, benefits, and personnel documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR-related queries and workplace concerns.
- Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary procedures, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, leave, deductions, incentives, and other payroll-related information.
- Administer employee benefits and support the timely resolution of benefits-related queries.
- Support workforce planning, manpower requirements, succession planning, and talent-retention initiatives.
- Organize employee training, coaching, development programs, and career-growth initiatives.
- Lead employee engagement, recognition, well-being, and retention programs.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures across restaurant and franchise operations.
- Monitor compliance with UAE labour laws, employment regulations, and workplace standards.
- Prepare HR reports and track key workforce metrics, including headcount, turnover, attendance, recruitment, and employee performance.
- Work closely with senior management and operational managers to address workforce requirements and improve HR processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification is an advantage.
- Previous experience as an HR Manager, Senior HR Generalist, or in a similar HR leadership role.
- Experience in hospitality, restaurants, food service, franchise operations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, HR policies, compliance requirements, workplace ethics, and employee well-being.
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training, and HR administration.
- Experience handling payroll-related information, benefits administration, HR documentation, and confidential personnel records.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse, multicultural teams and multiple operational locations.
