Huawei Cloud Stack (HCS) Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HCS Operations Specialist to manage and support Huawei Cloud Stack (HCS) infrastructure in a private on-premises environment. The role involves providing operational services across compute, storage, networking, and platform services, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance within the served organization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate and maintain Huawei Cloud Stack Online (HCSO) infrastructure.

· Provide support for:

o Elastic Cloud Servers (ECS)

o Cloud Container Engine (CCE) Nodes

o Huawei Virtualization Services including Compute, Big Data, Storage, Security, and Networking.

o Database Services and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings such as ROMA, Cloud Trace, DCS, etc.

· Monitor and optimize resource utilization and performance.

· Implement security controls and ensure compliance with internal policies.

· Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues across services.

· Collaborate with architecture and governance teams for continuous improvement.

Skills

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.

· 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations, with at least 4 years in Huawei Cloud Stack.

· Strong knowledge of virtualization, containerization, and cloud-native services.

· Experience with monitoring, logging, and security tools within HCS.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

· Huawei Certified ICT Expert (HCIE) – Cloud Service or equivalent.

· Certifications in ECS, CCE, or Huawei PaaS services.
