- Human Factors Design:
- Play a pivotal role in advancing the Human Factors knowledge base across key project elements. Utilize design methodologies to propose alternative approaches that reveal weak signals, contribute to defining, consolidating, and updating user needs. Facilitate co-creation workshops employing techniques such as personas, card sorting, user journeys, experience mapping, and sketching, while actively engaging with users and team members to gather insights.
- Human Factors Evaluations:
- Lead and manage human factors evaluations, whether conducted internally or through external partners (e.g., universities or contracted specialists). Conduct iterative user testing including A/B testing, eye-tracking, and focus groups to optimize user experience.
- Contractor & Specialist Oversight:
- Manage and oversee specialized Human Factors contractors to perform comprehensive workflow, task, and ergonomic analyses of ATM controller console designs and physical layout architectures.
- Reporting:
- Produce and maintain comprehensive reports and documentation related to Human Factors and associated domains to identify and mitigate risks. Translate complex concepts into clear, visual formats through design tools for effective communication.
- Internal Communication:
- Participate in project meetings to stay informed about technical challenges and improvements, providing a coherent and aligned Human Factors perspective to support decision-making.
- Safety & Quality:
- Contribute to meeting overall project safety requirements by supporting the team's understanding of necessary Human Factors considerations, ensuring compliance and risk reduction from a human-centric standpoint.
- Human Factors Expertise:
- Apply deep Human Factors expertise in line with the Knowledge, Skills, and Experience criteria defined for the role. Stay current with emerging UX and design trends to continuously enhance project outcomes.
- Commercial & Bid Support:
- Support bid activities and contribute to the preparation and review of engineering cost estimates for modification proposals to the functional baseline
- Self and Team Improvement
