ICT Project Manager

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced ICT project manager based in the United Arab Emirates to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT infrastructure projects for enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will leverage 10–12 years of project management expertise, PMP certification, and strong risk, stakeholder, and vendor management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders to drive successful outcomes and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of ICT projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, resource requirements, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks using proactive risk management strategies
• Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, including enterprise customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Coordinate vendor selection, contracting, performance management, and deliverable integration
• Oversee IT infrastructure implementation activities, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements
• Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and present updates to senior leadership
• Ensure adherence to PMP methodologies, governance processes, and best practices
• Facilitate project closure activities, including lessons learned and post-implementation reviews

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• PMP certification
• 10–12 years of ICT project management experience, with at least 5 years managing enterprise-level ICT initiatives
• Proven expertise in risk management, stakeholder management, budgeting, and vendor management for large-scale ICT projects
• Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure components (networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud)
• Experience serving as delivery manager across cross-functional and vendor teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with enterprise customers
• Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing multi-million AED project budgets

Preferred qualifications:

• Prince2 or Agile/Scrum certification
• Master’s degree in Project Management or related field
• Experience working with government or large corporate clients in the UAE
• Knowledge of regional regulatory and compliance standards
• Multilingual fluency (English plus Arabic or another regional language)
• Experience with ERP or CRM implementation projects
• ITIL certification
